Baya Lopez aka Baya Party Slayer
Highly motivated, energetic, and incredibly creative, Baya Lopez, aka Baya Party Slayer, is a professional and passionate event stylist. She is the founder and owner of Dream Room Venue & Décor, an excellent full-service event venue/banquet hall. With her strong motivation, passion and natural-born design eye, you can solidify your confidence that you will achieve extraordinary event displays that will exceed expectations.
Baya was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised in Queens. During high school, she enjoyed studying aspects of travel and tourism, which was a catalyst for her to earn an internship at American Express. Due to her strong work ethic and dedication, she was immediately hired by the company upon graduation. Baya loved being able to work alongside the EVP of American Express, gaining immense knowledge and admiration for corporate America. The professional fast-paced environment inspired Baya to follow her dreams.
When Baya was in her late 20’s, she uprooted and moved to Georgia, where she began her new journey working with a home builder. At the same time, she was attending Westwood College, studying interior design to not only fulfill her decorating cravings, but to thrive at her current job. This foundation launched her into developing her own construction company with her husband, which is still operating successfully today.
Though construction and being able to tap into all aspects that are involved with the process were skills Baya had, the area that she adored the most was designing and decorating. She gravitated to this so strongly that it became the only thing she genuinely wanted to focus on, not mundane permits, coding hassles, and all the other boring stuff. She loved, being creative, and transforming any idea she or a client had into something real and beautiful.
In 2014, Baya followed her calling and branched away from the Construction Industry, to enter the Events Industry world. Although at first it was a very foreign area for her, that quickly changed. She began establishing Dream Room, and in 2016 she formally established the Dream Room brand. From that moment onward, it took off running, and so did Baya’s incredible abilities. From consulting, decorating, to offering professional guidance, you can have peace of mind knowing that Baya Party Slayer is the perfect person who will capture every detail and truly bring your dream event to life.
Since then, Baya’s place for celebrations manifested into something much bigger and better, allowing her to express her talent and love for creating magical and breathtaking moments, unlike ever before. The remarkable thing is that this is just the beginning for Dream Room and the Baya Party Slayer brand.
